The writer talks about accompanying Khanum to a party at the house of the Shah's mother, eating dinner and staying overnight, going to the bath house in the morning, Khanum using henna and having watermelon, Khanum's stomach ache, and treating her in the absence of Haji Vazir and Hakim.
